Early last year our lives were torn apart with the news that Emily had been diagnosed with a cruel terminal disease called ALS, A heartbreaking neurological disorder effecting the nerves in the brain that control muscle movement, unfortunately getting worse over time with a  2-5 year life expectancy.

It’s left her extremely weak, unable to leave the house without assistance or walking frame, needing daily physio care to ease her muscles spasm’s. We had to move house as she can no longer climb the stairs. It’s utterly heartbreaking to watch and unfortunately in France and Europe it seems there is very little they can do to help.

She battles this every day and is so mentally strong, I have never been prouder of Emily, she is completely focused of on trying to fight and find answers so she can help herself and others.

Those of you have met Em know what a loving caring and loyal person she is, She’s dedicated her life to helping me with my career,  I owe it to her to try and get her the very best medical care possible and locally the options are extremely limited to the point where we need to look farther afield for support.

It’s my mission to get her to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA. The number one neurological hospital in the world and they offer different, assessments, trials and treatments which they believe might help Emily and also the lives of others.

Because she’s so physically fragile it’s not going to be a straightforward trip and financially demanding, in an effort to raise funds I’ve created a new print on her behalf featuring some of the things she loves, Elegance, The Riviera coast lines, Sailing boats and her old signature glass of Rose with the hope that sales help to fund a trip to Rochester in February to try and help save her life.
